SUBJECT:  CESAR CEBALLOS’S  “AN EXHIBITION WITHIN AN EXHIBITION” Exhibit at City Lights Art Gallery
DATE:   February 4th to March 6th
MEET THE ARTIST RECEPTION:  Saturday, February 13 from 2 to 4 pm             

City Lights Art Gallery is proud to announce a new exhibit for the month of February “AN EXHIBITION WITHIN AN EXHIBITION” by award winning artist, Cesar Ceballos.

About the artist

Cesar says of himself, “I paint and sketch to elevate the viewer’s awareness and appreciation for beauty through creativity and representation of life and elements of nature. Audience activation is a priority. I consider my process as a “reunion of experiential thought”.”

 

One of Cesar’s featured works of art, “Red Square for Justice 3” will be featured in this exhibit.  Cesar says about this painting, “With turmoil and unfairness in the world, an urgent awareness for Equality and Justice to the world, including the USA. The Red Square on the painting represents communism in Moscow and Beijing, and Black lives and all lives matter to humanity.”

Please stop in to meet Cesar on Saturday, February 13 from 2 to 4 pm.  His exhibit is on display at City Lights through March 6th.  Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon-4pm or call 702.260.0300 for an appointment to meet with Cesar.

Art Classes in watercolor, acrylic, abstract water media and oil are currently being offered in a socially distanced space!  Aspiring artists or those simply looking to refresh their skills are welcome.

Established in 2003, City Lights Artists’ Co-op is a non-profit 501(c) 3 entity.  We fund scholarships and mini-grants awarded to local students with aspirations in the world of art.  Tax-deductible donations are accepted.
