Henderson Historic Resources Plan
Background
Henderson Historic Resources Plan (HHRP)
The Henderson Historic Resources Survey Plan (HHRSP) was funded by the Nevada Historic Preservation Fund, a program of the Nevada State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO).
These efforts encourage the preservation, documentation, and use of cultural resources.SHPO initiatives educate the public about the importance of our cultural heritage so that
Nevada’s historic and archaeological properties are preserved, interpreted, and reused for their economic, educational, and intrinsic values and for future generations to appreciate.
The HHRP will identify neighborhoods/buildings/structures etc. of historically significant age, take into account community priorities and outline strategies for continued survey techniques
to determine eligibility for nomination to local, state or national historic registries.
